Here is a very simple recipe for homemade oxiclean.

1 cup water
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide
For bad stains, soak laundry overnight but for normal cleaning you can just put the baking soda and peroxide right into the wash.
The best deal is usually a gallon of peroxide if your grocery or pharmacy sells it. For Baking soda, buy the 12lb bag in the pool section, it is usually under $10.00
